I cannot get my desktop Ethernet connection to connect to the 5ghz, only the 2.4. The ethernet connection doesn't give any other option but the 2.4. I can connect my desktop to either over wifi, but I don't want the desktop connected by wifi. I want it connected by ethernet. Also, All my wifi connected devices have a choice, except our playstations for some reason only sees the 2.4. Can anyone help me with these two issues?

Both 2.4 an 5ghz are wifi only. I believe the server by default uses the same name for wired connection as it uses for the 2.4 name. This is common for all home wireless router I've used (Actiontec, Linksys, and ASUS).

Regarding the network name, TNS_2 above was correct. It shows as 2.4 even for wired.
As for certain devices not being able to see the 5 GHz band, this is not an issue with the router. Many older/cheaper devices don't have WiFi chips that support the 5 GHz band, only 2.4, hence why your only seeing 2.4 on them.
