Not sure this thread is still active, but from other research I have done online the fact there is no ethernet coming from the ONT is *exactly* the problem. You will probably need to call Verizon and have them switch the network from Coax to ethernet. Then you would plug the ethernet from the ONT to the WAN port on your Linksys (you will probably have to release the IP from Verizon so the switchover occurs and the network will be over the ethernet. Then just make sure the Coax from the ONT is used as the INPUT to the splitter. Take one of the outputs from the splitter and connect to your new MOCA device (the other output(s) should feed the Coax wiring in your residence). Then connect one of the LAN ports from your Linksys to the LAN port on the MOCA device. The MOCA should come up at this point and all you should need to do is reboot the STB(s) starting with the "main" one (if you have DVR service, the "main" STB is the one that has the DVR).
