I currently have a Verizon MI424WR Rev G router and would like to know if there are reasons outside of better WiFi ability, to upgrade to a MI424WR Rev I?  TIA.

I thought even the wifi was the same.  The specs on rev g say it supports 802.11n and gig wired ports.

Probably a number of minor updates, but most of the specs are similar.  Note the rev I or the Greenwave G1100 are required for Quantum TV.  If you get Quantum TV they will give you one of these, probably the rev I.

Thanks all. I think the "updates" aspect was what I had in mind; works better on the FIOS network, improved signal, that kind of thing. I did not know I needed one of the newer routers for Quantum service. I don't have that service yet and don't think I want or need it.
