Its Verizons sick joke on me. I've only noticed this, when my 25ms ping I have been getting for months at all times of day, is now turning into over 100ms most of the time at any time of day. Starting in the month of December.
I don't know what the heck is going on over there at verizon, but they don't seem any different then Comcast or AT&T now....I predict the more people that get verizon the worse their network is going to become.
And that new commerical they have telling people to upgrade to 50mbs for better gaming is making me cringe. Because thats a total fraud since ping is what matters not bandwidth, or maybe thats the reason why my 30mbs is not good enough, because they want me to upgrade?
Verizon tells me this is not their issue and unprofessionally tells me I should email the admin of that german server myself, which I did. But I'd have to be naive to expect a reply back. PC gaming is not as popular as it used to be, and things like this one of the reasons the computer industry is losing money nowadays in general. We can't blame Ipads and iphones, which aren't computer supplements for most people.
I hope someone out there can help me.
Sincerely,
Rich.
