Here's another thing you can do without using a proxy:
- Type 192.168.1.1
- Log in username: admin
- Password: Look on the router and it will be the "Login password." (When you are typing the password, the screen may show random black dots... don't worry about them. Just type the password as you see on the router and press enter)
- Click on "My network" at the top bar
- Click on "Network connections" on the left bar
- Click on the 'edit' icon for "Broadband Connection (Ethernet/Coax)
- Click on "Settings"
- Change "Primary DNS Server" to "Use the Following DNS Server Addresses"
- Type 8, 8, 8, 8 (first line below the above)
- Then type 8, 8, 4, 4 (second line)
- Click on "Apply"
- Enjoy. 🙂
