I have been alternating between automatic channel and channel 11. My iMac will communicate perfectly with the Verizon Actiontec router for hours even days and suddenly does not seem to be able to find the router or takes minutes to find the router. When I change the setting the same thing starts over again. My pc does not seem to have these issues. It is driving me crazy and perish the thought, thinking about going back to Cox with my own router.
