FIOS G1100 router rebooting frequently in middle of night

Hi, I have just upgraded my old Actiontec router for 15/15 FIOS Internet service to new Quantum G1100 router under 50/50 service. Upgrade went fine, with no problems. However, in the middle of the first night, the router rebooted abruptly (dropped connection, red light, then flashing white as router reboots). This then repeated 3 times within 45 minutes!

I went into myfiosgateway administration and took a look at the system log. It appears that the device was updating its firmware successfully and rebooting, but it repeated this. Here is the log excerpt from the first time:

There are other err messages regarding failure to load "clients" file or no IPv4/br-guest support, but that all seems normal.

I cannot seem to find any part of the router administration that relates to firmware upgrading (ie., what the level is, when autoupdate should be scheduled, etc.).

Has anyone else experienced this, and should I expect this to repeat in the middle of every night?

Thanks for your help!

Pretty sure I know what the issue is. The G1100 Quantum Gateway has a known issue with Arris GPON ONTs where it loses connectivity with the ONT. Though if it is an issue like this, it usually doesn't come back up on its own. What you'd want to do is verify the model of your ONT.  Which should be printed on your ONT if you can find it. You'll be looking for Arris (or it might say Motorolla,) ONT 1000GT4 or 1000GT2. If you have one of these, Basically you're going to want to reseat all the coax in your home. that you can find that runs along the connection to the router.

If you don't have one of these ONTs, then you're going to want to call technical support.

Wheller, thx for reply. I have Tellabs SFH 612A ONT, so thats probably not the issue. G1100 doesnt seem to have repeated this behavior since, but I'd still like to know if firmware has a schedule for future ROM updating. My local Verizon store gave me a tech support # to try, if they have an answer I will post it here.
