Voicemail broken again

Once again when people call me they don't hear my greeting. Instead they get a Verizon robot telling them to log into a mailbox. This happens every few months. I pay $1,000 a year for landline service and it gets worse all the time. Probably it's Verizon's way of trying to force everybody onto FiOS. What a rotten company — corrupt to the core.
