I am trying to find out if there is a way to have the hotspot (HS) automatically start when it get external power.
We have a mobile service and laptops in the cars. We have hotspots for the laptops to connect to. We like to leave the HS plugged into the car and when the car starts and provide power to the device it will start. It’s set to not sleep but if the car is not on for 24hrs the battery dies and will not start up but will charge.

I can understand how important it is to have your device boot up when attached to power. Unfortunately, it is not the case with the mobile device. They do require to be turned on. We do offer a Hum X that does connect to your device power supply and is enabled when the vehicle is turned on. For further details click here https://www.hum.com/products/hum-x/. AlbertoR_VZW
