I have 2 Gizmo Watch 2s and they both chime at 7:00 am everyday. I don’t see where an alert is on. Please help!

Thanks for posting. Did Verizon help you resolve this issue? I have the same problem. Thanks!

I'm sorry you're having the same issue as well, Agropper.
We will be delighted to provide you the help you need. Is there an alert set up? Take a look at pages 30 and 38 of the user manual. https://ss7.vzw.com/is/content/VerizonWireless/Catalog%20Assets/Devices/Gizmo/Gizmowatch%20UG/gizmow...
Page 47 provides instructions on resetting the Gizmo Watch.
Please let us know if you run it any issues.

Hello, Kevinsbar77. We are sorry to hear that you are still having issues with Gizmo watch. Was the hard reset you did a Factory Reset? Also, when was the Gizmo purchased? *Cassie

I have the same problem. It's not anything we set up. The manual, or an update or reset, isn't the answer.

Did anyone find a solution to this? I have the same problem and it’s really annoying.

I set "silent hours" for a 10-minute period around 7am, which worked for one day, and then the alert moved to 7:06 and started going off very loud every morning again. I've now got it set to silent for a 20-minute period around 7am and that seems to be working.
Hopefully no one ever has an emergency and can't reach their child around 7am because of this issue. Verizon is going to get a lot of bad publicity, especially since it's been identified and ignored for a long time now.

FYI, it's the step counter that's doing it. Every morning around 7am the phone alerts on the previous day's step count. It also creates a similar alert on my phone. Neither is configurable and neither can be disabled. We didn't set up step counting and don't want it, but there's no option to do anything about it.

I am sorry to hear of any issues with the alarm going off on your Gizmo Watch. Is a To Do List set up?
1. Touch Kids on the Control Panel and swipe to the
child’s To-Do List card.
2. Touch the task.
3. Edit the task name, duration, recurrence, reward, and
alarm. You can also touch the Active switch at the
top to turn off the task.
4. Touch Save -Al

I appreciate the suggestion but you're wasting everyone's time with these unrelated replies. There are no to-dos. The Gizmo2 has a step counter function that is not configurable at all and can't be disabled. It creates daily alarms on both the watch and the app on the parent's phone, and there's nothing in the app or on the phone that can be done about it, even if you have no interest in step counting your child. The only solution in either case is to silence or disable all Gizmo notifications, which renders the Gizmo useless because that disables all notifications related to communication, location, or anything else the device is intended for. That's the problem. If you have any updates on this problem, please let us know.

Thank you for reaching out to us. My son has a Gizmo and we do not have this same issue. Have you reset the device completely? Can you create another Gizmo Hun account with a new email account?

I had the same problem. I deleted the "steps goal" I had set up from my son and it stopped chiming at 7am - HOORAY!. A few days later I set the step goal back up and it hasn't started chiming at 7am again. My guess is there's a glitch where the goal 'resets' and chimes in the morning. Like many apps - if it has a glitch you uninstall/delete and reinstall/recreate. If you have a step goal, try deleting it and see if that stops the chime. If you don't have a step goal, maybe try deleting certain settings one at a time, see if it chimes the next morning, etc. The process of elimination is a pain but that chime is a WAY bigger pain.
