I dont know why my mobile hotspot ran out of data

Just moved into a new house and have to use hotspot for a couple of days before getting new internet. I got a text message stating that my mobile phone has used up its 9999 GB mobile hotspot allowance. This is after only one day of using it. How is someone supposed to use 9999 GB in one day? I even checked my mobile hotspot settings and it said I only shared 4.33 GB. Can someone tell me why it ran out? Very confused and angry....

We don't want you to keep having problems with your hotspot and we'd be happy to get to the bottom of this. What mobile plan are you currently on? What troubleshooting have you tried?

I have the same issue and I'm so tired of paying an enormous bill, on top of extra data, only for it to run out when I was told I had more than enough. We ice fish on the lake every weekend and this is our only way to watch movies and such. I'd like to know how unlimited means limited. It's completely insane.
