We have had nothing but problems with getting internet to work in Bozeman, Mt. Sometimes we have a great connection, but most times, NOT!!!!

What Verizon device are you referring to here? It would also be helpful to know what kind of error messages you are receiving in this scenario.
I checked Bozeman, Mt on the Verizon coverage map and can see there is mountainous terrain as well as many service gaps in this area. Its likely that the natural signal you receive from Verizon in this location is already the best they are willing to do. Assuming the problem is service related you may have to look into setting up a amplifier and antenna system to increase your reception and cellular performance.

Netgear Jetpack AC791L After having nothing but problem since March of
this year, I upgraded twice, from my old MIFI jetpack and signing up for
the new "unlimited" plan I have had terrible service. Recently after
months of hassling with Verizon, I upgraded to the current Netgear pack. I
can get on line in the mornings or evenings on weekdays, but, between the
hours of 4 pm to 10 pm it's a frustrating waste of time. Weekends is a
complete disappointment, very little access. It doesn't matter if I am at
the beginning of my bill cycle, middle or at the 20 GB unlimited plan. It
is extremely frustrating to the point of wanting to find a provider that
can better serve our needs. I have been dealing with this issue since
March of this year, when I switched to the "New" limited plan with a new
jetpack upgrade. When that new jetpack didn't help service, I upgraded
again to the current Netgear Pack, which, has helped. I have been a
verizon customer forever and have always had good service, till this year.
As big as Verizon is I find it totally unacceptable to put up with such a
lack of service in a city that is and has been in the top 5 cities in the
nation where people want to live for at least 10 years. UNBELIEVABLE

I forgot to mention, even my phone, Verizon-SM-G900V-E13D Samsung has
problems, but, there are times we can use it as our hotspot because the
Jetpack won't work at all or is slow..............But even it has problems.

shirshot1, we want to make sure we do everything we can to get to the bottom of these service issues. I would like to ask a few additional details so we can investigate further. What exact zip code in Bozeman, MT are you experiencing the issues with data connection? Also, you stated your cellphone had issues with service too, do you experience the issues with your cellphone during the times of 4pm-10pm also?
Lastly, have you had the opportunity to travel with your Jetpack during the hours of 4pm-10pm to see if your data signal improves in other areas?

zip code is 59718 and yes, sometimes the phone has it's problems to, but,
it sometimes is the only way we get access. Yes, we were in Northern
California last month for about 10 days and our jetpack seemed to work
better, although there were a few times it performed slower than the
phone's hotspot.

Thank you so much for the additional information shirshot1. Does the signal seem to improve when you move the Jetpack to different parts of your home? Have you tried to use it by windows to see if there is a difference? Is there any physical damage or anything to the Jetpack?

Yes and No. I simply do not believe Verizon has adequate service here. If
you look at their coverage map, it's in the gray area or near. It makes no
sense that Verizon lacks the ability to provide 4G coverage in one of the
top 5 places in the US to live and has been for over 10 years.

Windows 7 at 8:09 am DL .61 UL .58 at 8:11 am DL .53 UP .59 We don't

I too live in in 59718 and have terrible connection with my Verizon service. It is frustrating that these archaeic issues exsist in 2018. It is an ongoing disappointment. Verizon needs to put in high functioning tower around the area of Home Depot if they expect to retain customers in this booming area. You are spot on in saying that the speeds are slow and less than functional between 4 pm to 10pm. Verizon, can you please initiate a request to install a new tower in 59718?? This area is grossly neglected.

Been happening since mid- May. Before that, we lived in a different place with even worse reception. Yikes! I have not purchased a booster because I live in the city and should not have to pay extra to invest in what should already be stable coverage.
