Hi - I teach online with ZOOM to large classes, and my MIFI hotspot is not cutting it.
I thought it was due to throttling but i bought 2 extra 15GB sim cards to change out once i would start to be throttled..but i am way under the 15 GB and...
my speedtest is fine for download, upload=0.00 and Ping all over the place but my lowest ping was 30.5
Help!!!
I already do not use my video while teaching to help with bandwidth issues..what else can i do?
Comcast (nasty word) cannot service me. THANK YOU!!!

I had a ping of 1156 today. That's what Verizon calls high speed data.

I have been on the phone or chat soo many times it is ridiculous. We did a reset of the Jetpack and that did nothing. A couple of times today i did the speedtest...and got 0 on upload speed.
I am still below the softlimit of 15GB on my current SIM in my hotspot..and it is sunday and i feel like things are very slow.
Again..my download speeds are fine..upload best it has ever tested is slightly above 2, mostly much lower..and ZOOM needs a minimum of 2...my Ping's are all over the place and typically very high 1285.
HELP!!!
I am worried about teaching tomorrow.

You can call and call and call. They don't have anyone qualified to troubleshoot anything technical. They all read off a script. that's the best it's going to get with verizon.

Dolores.....I have been on the phone for endless hours with "so called" tech support folks. None of them have a clue. They all read off the same sheet of paper'
I will ask you one question. Your answer will speak volumes if you truly care or just talking nonsense.
Please give the email, link, phone number to file a complaint.
If you dont give that info then you just blowing smoke about really caring.

My 8800L download speed is never above 3mbs. I have followed all the threads on the internet regarding resets and such. Added an external antenna expecting at least one more bar of connectivity and that did not happen. I left my home and went to a park closer to the Verizon tower, still 1 to 2 bars fluctuating and no change to download or upload speeds and still with an external antenna attached. Surely this is a problem because I have the same outcome on signal strength on my Note 9. Very disappointing. I know this is business but poor service is not good business and surely Verizon is aware of the low performing tower Im attached to. Zip code 36022.
