NAT Type with Nintendo switch and multiplayer Issues

I'm having problems using my Orbic speed hotspot when I'm trying to connect to others on the Nintendo Switch. It keeps giving me NAT type D which is preventing me from using multi-player. I didn't have this problem when I had the old Ellipsis jetpack that they recalled and replaced with the Orbic speed. The only way I can even use multi-player is when I connect my switch to my mobile phone hotspot or to another router. It then gives me the NAT type B. I have the unlimited plus plan but all it does is give me connection issues when I try to play with others. I even tried improving the NAT but that didn't work. I'm not familiar with how Verizon's data connection's work when dealing with NAT types, so if anyone has any idea what I can do to fix my problem, I'd greatly appreciate it. I've been bummed cause I can play with others on Switch with this NAT problem.  I have no problem doing multiplayer on PC only on the switch.

Hi, there! For NAT Type with your Nintendo Switch and multiplayer, please visit the Settings option > Network and Internet > Mobile Network > Advanced > Access point names. Once you do that, you can change Access Point Names (APNs) and edit the numbers. By choosing the relevant provider, case in point: Android hotspot, you can get a NAT Type D. With a STRICT NAT type, you're only able to chat and play multiplayer games with people who have an OPEN NAT type. You can't be chosen as the host of a match. *Andrea

Hi,

My android mobile connection works when I want to connect to other consoles just fine with it's NAT type of B. The Orbic speed hotspot with the NAT type of D, on the other hand, will not allow me to connect with anyone regardless of game or who's hosting the game. I try and join a hosted game like Mario Kart or try to go to another players Animal Crossing island. Every time I get the error that there is one or more consoles that I can't connect to or not responding. It wasn't this bad before because I would get that error message a few times before I finally connected to the other players switch. Now it does that regardless of game. I've tested the connection with others that can join a hosted game and it gives me the same error.
