I "Only" have a mobile hotspot on my Verizon account. NO cell phone service. The issue I have is that Verizon started using a "verification code" to access my online account. The hotspots do not have a text function. So I can not receive text. Hence, I can not log in to my online account.
After a conversation with a customer service rep. There is no way I can access my online account anymore. Ever.
There needs to be a secondary email or phone number to send the code to.
The security team at Verizon did not think this issue through when setting up verification codes.
Yes, I have used verification codes before. But most have an email option for use to receive a code.
How can I login to my online account?

We understand the importance of being able to access your online account no matter the services you have. Since mobile devices are occasionally not available to use for authentication for one reason or another we also offer authentication through email when a verified email address is attached to the account. In this case you would need to stop by one of our corporate locations to verify your email. https://www.verizon.com/stores/

I did not mean to hit the "correct" button. This is an incorrect answer you gave me, unless you know more than the last 3 Verizon customer representatives that I have talked to.
If this is correct then you know more than the other 3 representatives. Please research and make sure you are "totally" right before you give me an answer. I will go to the Verizon store if I have to but I want a definite answer before I go.

You should be able to 'uncorrect' the answer the same way you inadvertently hit 'correct'.
