I just received and set up this hotspot yesterday, and at first it seemed to work quite well. But I now find that if I step away from my laptop for 20-30 minutes and return, the wifi has ceased, and when I look at available wifi networks, it is no longer listed. (Other devices - such as my wife's laptop - also don't show it available.) I check the hotspot, and it is still powered up. If I push the hotspot's power button once, within a few seconds it has reappeared among available networks.
I don't want to have to revisit the hotspot to reset it everytime I step away from my laptop. Suggestions?

Thanks for reaching out to us here, DrYattz. I want to make sure you get the most from your new hotspot. At the time of disconnection or thereafter, are you noticing any issues with the signal on the hotspot? Any issues with any other VZW devices? Looking forward to hearing back.

I'm not. It hangs out at 2-3 bars incoming with consistency, and the signal strength at the device logged into it seems to remain full.

None. The other hotspot is a MiFi8800-L, and it's function seems unrelated to that of the RC400L-48.
BTW: the disconnection seems to have stopped, with none occurring over the last 5 days (although it is in the exact same place in the home).

@DrYattz ,
Thank you for keeping us updated. With this issue not happening recently, has anything changed in how you are using it? For example, you mentioned that if you were using your computer with the hotspot, then left for 20-30 minutes and found the connection was gone. Has that happened again? I ask because from your initial description, the jetpack is going into Sleep mode, since it can't be located and yet is still powered on. When you pressed the button on the unit, it turned off Sleep mode and the connection visibility returned again: https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-300767/
