Hello, bitrich34. Help is here as we can provide info regarding the device in question. Please see our Device Unlocking Policy below. To clarify, any brand-new device purchased with us must be connected to an active Verizon account for 60 days before it can be unlocked and if you want to use it with a different provider, you must pay the device off in full. If the device is still locked, whoever the previous owner of the device was, they must contact us to properly authenticate the acccount so that we can check to unlock status on our end. If these two options cannot be checked and confirmed, we are unable to unlock the device. https://www.verizon.com/about/consumer-safety/device-unlocking-policy

Can I know if my device contains a locked ESIM through the serial number? I want to buy a second-hand iPad Pro 2024, but they don't know if it's a contract machine from your company. How to know in order to avoid risks?

Hello, thank you for reaching out to us. The best way to check if a device is unlocked would be for the account owner to contact us, and we can check that for them, you can also try the following link: https://www.verizon.com/sales/digital/byod.html?adobe_mc=MCMID%3D88370965577235478251880725524076607...

I have coverage issues in the area. And there fore would like an alt eSIM profile on my iPad and it is locked right after activation if it cannot be unlocked then will return and go with a carrier that does not do this stunt. Completely unusable outside home.

Hello, Meblen72. So sorry to hear you are experiencing some issues with your coverage. Help is here. Please share more info. What exactly are you experiencing with your coverage? What happens?
Regarding the unlocking of the device, please see our Device Unlocking Policy as we are unable to unlock it for 60 days as this is a system's limitation.

Hello, bitrich34, thanks for getting back to us. To make sure we're on the same page, you are attempting to activate your tablet with another provider one week after purchasing your device? If so, it will not be possible since you have not yet met the 60-day threshold. Does this help clarify?

We'll be glad to clarify. The tablet needs to be in the USA for 60 days tenure with an active connection with verizon. Does this information help?
