I was sold an international data plan. The sales team at virizon knew that I go to school in Canada (I upgraded in 2021) to the unlimited plan that gave me 2gb of high speed and unlimited low speed. This was perfect for my part living in Canada.
recently Virizon notified me that my 50$ international usage limit had been reached and now Iโm being charged a steep ( 2.50$ per 1mb of data) Iโve returned to the states twice in the last 60 days and I hardly use data as it is. However I went back to Canada and I havenโt had wifi until today and they limited me without even noticing me.
My family has been a loyal customer to Verizon for years and I have even promoted to friends, to feel they have hoodwinked me is extremely sad and Iโm nervous now that Iโm in a remote area of Canada for another few weeks and they have stranded me with no use of data which means no GPS no emergency communication:./

We're sorry to hear about the issues you're having with your international plan. We want to make sure we're being completely transparent with what your international plan covers. Is the plan you're talking about a separate international plan like Travel Pass or is it included in your plan without an extra charge?
