So I have my parents under my account and my dad has called internationally using international minutes twice now on accident. He means to use whatsapp but ends up using the actual phone app. This results in high charges. My question is, is there a way to completely block outgoing international calls? I want to avoid this issue because itโs expensive. Any help is appreciated.

Hey there, jholliday25, we certainly don't want to see charges added to your bill due to international calls! We can help review your account for available blocks. So we can better assist, we will be reaching out via Private Message.

Using WhatsApp overseas is probably even more expensive than making a simple voice call internationally because WhatsApp is using data. WiFi is not free when you're abroad. You should enable Travel Pass on your father's line so it's $10/day or the $100/month International Plan for the random calls and some limited data.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
