International travelers with iPhones. You must suspend your Verizon account and use a physical SIM card in your destination country if you don't want to be charged by Verizon while you travel. But, you can only suspend your line one time within 12 months. You then need to reactivate your line upon return. It took many bogus and excessive charges for me to finally get someone to give me the correct guidance
