Hello, I had called Verizon to get assistance about returning a new iPhone within the 30 day policy. I was not receiving help from the Verizon store I had picked the phone up from and they continued to treat me poorly when I tried to process a return. A different employees mistakes further exacerbated the return and prolonged the bad experience. I ended up called the 800 number for help. The person who picked up was from overseas and after telling her that Iโve been having a very difficult experience with Verizon over the last few years and that Iโm hoping someone could help me with my current predicament, she went ahead and said to me that I was horrible. An agent speaking to a customer like that is beyond unacceptable. I filed a complaint to BBB about my iPhone pickup experience from the NewBrook Chantilly VA store and a district manager called me but she didnโt really help. She said she served all of DC, MD and VA and then when I told her about my South Riding VA Verizon experience suddenly she couldnโt help and was only considered the district manager for a few stores. She did not clarify that and may have been associated with Victra, only. She had told me to complain to the 800 number about the rude service agent but so far I have not been able to speak to a US agent when I have called. I have records of a link that agent sent me and I was told by the district manager that that would verify the agents name and then further disciplinary action would be taken with that individual. Iโm hoping customer support will see this message to help me. Iโve been receiving inconsistent help in person and over the phone and now complete and utter rude behavior from one agent. The fact that Verizon canโt simply confirm that a return had been accepted and does not allow customers to easily file a complaint against an agent is not fair whatsoever.
