We are leaving for Australia in 10 days. When I went to get international plans, both of our iPhone 13 Pros said cannot verify compability, but my kids' iPhone 13's were fine. Why is this. Is there a way to verify that both of our iPhone 13 Pro's will work on our trip?

abpruitt, we can help you make sure that you'll be able to get your international plans set up without any issues, and we'd love to help you. We're sending you a Private Message so we can assist.
You can also use the Trip Planner here: https://www.verizon.com/plans/international/international-travel/trip-planner-tool/ It's a great tool that can help make sure you're getting the right international plan.

I’m having the same issue with my iPhone 13 Pros saying it cannot verify compability. Could you please advise me on what to do. I’ve tried the trip planner and that’s where I got the message.

Audiosub, happy to help clarify things with you. So I can do that, can you just confirm for me what you're trying to check with regards to a international plan an compatibilty? Are you trying to check if your device will work overseas or if a specific international plan/service we offer, is in a specific country?

We’re traveling to Italy, Croatia and Greece in September. I want to get the international plan that covers the entire month, however under my phone it says
We are unable to guarantee compatibility for this device with networks outside the U.S.
Can you please advise?

iPhones are pretty sophisticated devices and if they work on Verizon, ought to work anywhere else as Verizon's competition and pretty much the rest of the world use GSM-based wireless technology, while Verizon is the one CDMA-based network. (US versions of phones are built with CDMA compatibility, while overseas versions of the same phones are usually only GSM.) I don't know why the Pro version of the iPhone 13 is giving you that message while a regular iPhone 13 doesn't, but you can always look up the specs for your phone elsewhere on the internet and compare them with the types of wireless tech used in the countries you're visiting to make sure everything matches up.
The international service plans do have loopholes in them where random stuff isn't covered. There can also be cases where Verizon doesn't have any agreement with a local carrier(s) and if you happen to be using a non-covered carrier, would be subject to international roaming charges. If your phones are unlocked, may want to consider getting a local SIM or eSIM while abroad as that may be a more cost effective option.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

Thanks for the info! My husband has the same phone, but he doesn’t get the compatibility message. It’s odd!
