Since moving back to the US (April 2023) and putting my Verizon SIM card into an unlocked phone that I purchased in Australia (Samsung Galaxy S10), I have not been able to send text messages to international numbers (from the US). I have no issues receiving texts.
Also, a few weeks ago, my wife purchased an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S22 on Amazon and put her Verizon SIM card in it. She previously had a Verizon locked Samsung Galaxy S8. She is also unable to send texts to international numbers since changing to the unlocked phone.
Chat sessions with Verizon support were no assistance.
Has anyone else experience this and is there a way to resolve it?
