Have used WiFi calling in the past on my android in airplane mode. Want to prevent unexpected travel pass bill (that sometimes occurs), so I want to turn off the vzw esim and rely on wifi. I am well aware of the wifi calling limitation of calling only US numbers and I do not need SMS.
Questions:
1. Does my already activated WiFi calling feature need the vzw esim to be ON or can I leave it off?
2. If needed, can I turn the vzw esim back on while away or do I have to wait for return to US to reenable it?
3. Will I lose the wifi feature because I had turned the vzw esim off or will the feature stick? I understand that WiFi calling has to be enabled while in the US.
