I have the worst experiences with Verizon's monthly international plan customer service. It's my 5th trip to Italy in 2 years and I always have major problems. Each time I set up the monthly plan before I leave, then it doesn't actually work once I get there. They say 24/7 support availability but it is not true, I can't get through by phone or get anywhere with the chat feature. They say 8-8 business hours but what time zone? So I spend way too much time tethered to  wifi till it's sorted out which can take days.  Then I spend hours trying to get credit on unauthorized charges once I get back. It is a nightmare scenario  that wastes hours of my time and money and no one seems to care in the slightest nor have I seen any improvement over the years. I have been a verizon customer for decades without incident but this international plan customer service is awful.  If I knew of another better option I would so do it.

FYIโ€”โ€”โ€”-> I am on the same page with you on this subjectโ€ฆโ€ฆI can share  my experience, if you wantโ€ฆ..Im think ing T- Mobile+ is probably going to  be the solutionโ€ฆ..My wife has  it without issues
