Travelling abroad and I enabled travel pass. I don't want to use it any longer, but I'm unable to disable it from the MyVerizon app, or through the international calling number.
I've called multiple times, gone through the menu, and when I attempt to disable the voice on the phone says "we're unable to process your request at this time"
When I try to disable it through the MyVerizon app I get the error message "we're having some trouble connecting to MyV prepay. Please try again later"
I've tried "later" for hours now. And I continue to get the same error messages via both ways of trying to disable it. Regardless, Verizon is still charging me ten dollars a day for a feature I'm unable to turn off.
We wish you safe travels, vitaman. It's important to keep cost down and have the best plan for your usage while traveling. Without TravelPass active, you would be billed at pay as you go rates based on your location. If you do not want to be billed for any international usage, we would recommend putting the phone into airplane mode. Where are you traveling? Are you on a cruise ship? Do you have a prepaid or post pay account? What do you plan to use the phone for?

I have Iphone SE via Verizon, PrePaid Plan, I will have Travel Pass for some days. I will be in Paris, France and will be calling U.S.(home) AND within Paris and surroundings.
I put some money on my account to purchase Travel Pass while in France for two weeks. I want to use only certain days. (other days I don't need it) HOW DOES ONE DISABLE TRAVEL PASS FOR A DAY OR MORE-- BY CHANGING IN SETTINGS ON PHONE OR WHERE? I really need to know. I cannot afford for everyday while there. PLEASE let me know how to DISABLE TRAVEL PASS.
I have had same frustrating experience for past 2 weeks as the initial inquirer above.
Please don't tell me to use Verizon App. It only Enables the plan.

Travel pass only kicks in if you use it. On days you don’t want to use it, put the phone in airplane mode before the 24 hour travel pass runs out and you won’t be charged for that day. Don’t do anything else in the app or phone or calling customer service.

You don't use your phone, it's that easy. If you have travel pass and are connecting to a foreign cell towers it charges. No use = no charge.
Keep your phone in airplane mode if you don't want it connecting.
