BEWARE if you are taking your phone out of the country. If it's ON, you are susceptible to charges, whether you are using "Verizon" or not.
I looked at my bill when we returned from a 10 day trip to Europe. I expected to see Travelpass charges on my husband's line, but not mine. I had toggled my Verizon internet to the OFF position. I only used the ship's wi-fi. I was charged for 5 days of Travelpass. They weren't consecutive days, just random days. Customer service would not take all the charges off my account.
I am extremely disappointed with Verizon.
