I have the New Verizon Large (8GB) plan and will be traveling to St. Thomas and St. John in the US Virgin Islands. There seems to be conflicting information on whether or not calls and texts are included in my plan or require an International Plan. Can anyone clarify the situation?

US Virgin Islands - Domestic
British Virgin Islands - Roaming $1.79/min
You asked about the US Virgin Islands.
US Virgin Islands = St. Croix, St. John, St. Thomas (+ smaller islands)

Why does that PDF list the "Voice - Pay as you go" pricing at $1.79 a minute then?

Apparently a very recent change that it is domestic, but I share your concern until confirmed by someone who has actually travelled there with the conflicting documents.

Thanks Weth.
Based on the TripAdvisor post (which is fairly recent), looks like the doc I was referencing may be out dated. As long as we stay at our hotel (the Westin on the eastern side of St. John), hopefully we won't get a stray signal from the British islands. I suppose if we travel to the northern end of St. John, we will have a higher probability of roaming over to the BVI.
