First time traveler to Ireland. Help choosing plan.

We (2 of us) are traveling to Ireland and Northern Ireland. I could use some help in determining the most economical plan for us. Each night of lodging has wi-fi. We will be traveling by car some days and our car will have its own GPS, so we shouldn't need to use phone data for maps. We may need to make a phone call occasionally to notify our B&B of travel plans or to make reservations somewhere, and perhaps a few times back home. I'm thinking that our best bet would be the pay as you go option, but I'm open to all suggestions!

For a short trip to Ireland with Wi-Fi and GPS already available, TravelPass will almost certainly be the best option for you. It charges a $10/day for as much talk/text/data as you need to use that day, but will ONLY charge you the $10 if you use any of those services while out of the U.S. You'll want to keep your mobile data turned off and airplane mode on any days you're not using it in order to keep it from charging you the $10 for that day.

The alternative would be a Pay As You Go plan, which would charge somewhere in the area of $2 per minute/MB used, and around $0.50 per text.
