I will be in Japan for two months and I need to have access to apps, maps, google, text, voice, etc... Verizon plan includes 100mb of data. Is this enough?

EUGCOL56 -  Planning a trip to Japan sounds  awesome! That's great that you will be there for 2 months. I can  certainly understand making sure you want to be covered with enough data  while you're there.  Since it is a 2-month trip, I  do not recommend our daily Travel Pass if you'll be using the phone  every day because it's $10.00 per day. This would add up quick for an  extended trip.

I recommend using our  trip planner to help you determine the best plan for your need:   http://vz.to/2nejEru.  Our data calculator will also help you determine  how much data you would use based off your activities:  http://vz.to/2o7ZPHk  Keep us posted!

Nope.  You might consider Day pass, which allows you to use your existing plan.

Japanese cities have excellent wifi, but that doesn't extend outside the cities.

What's a day pass?

maybe getting a SIM card and a local Japanese plan maybe a better option?
