I'm traveling to Italy for one week and Germany for the one after that, what do I need for 15 days for phone service and access to maps during this timeframe?
The easiest is to make sure you have TravelPass on your account by checking international options in plan. For everyday that you use service, it will be $10, so $150 for 15 days if you use it everyday. If you don’t need the service for the day and can use Wifi only, turn on airplane mode for that day before your 24 hour pass expires and you won’t be charged the $10 for that day.
The cheapest option is usually to get a local SIM and use that, but No one will be able to call your phone number while travelling.
