Our Trip to Italy

We are planning to travel to Italy around June 3d.  With our minimal useage, should we only take one of our phones plus our Ipad?  No business will be done, as we will only be turing Rome and Venice.  What stuff do we need to do to make sure our roaming charges are minimal?

SUSHER84, making sure you have the right international coverage while traveling is very important. We want to make sure you have the best options available to you. We suggest logging in to My Verizon and checking out our travel planner in order to review your options > http://vz.to/1RmJq97

Take both phones with you with one phone enabled for pay-as-you-go (so that this line is at least a backup and can be used in an emergency if needed but will only charge if used) and the other set up with TravelPass that will allow your regular domestic plan/allowances to be used @ $10 per 24 hour period if used, and if not used it won't charge you even the $10.... This is how I would do it, with the one phone used as much as you normally would in the states, with it only charging the $10 per day at most.
