Can I connect via remote desktop to a computer connected to a Jetpack?

I would like to connect to a Windows machine that is connected to a JetPack 6601 from a Windows machine using Remote Desktop.

So basically I have computer that is located in a car that is connected wirelessly to a jetpack.

I need to connect to this computer from a desktop computer.

Could somebody provide the step by step method as to how I can do this?

The Jetpack will probably need a static IP address. You can Google: Windows Remote Desktop, for information on how to use Remote Desktop. But, I have a feeling you already know how and it’s not working with the Jetpack. In which case, see the first sentence.

Verizon Wireless has deployed a system wide CGN with multiple middlebox subnets. The CGN allows VPN Pass Through with popular VPN Clients and certain VoIP applications such as Google Voice. Proprietary VPN clients, VPN Servers, and other VoIP applications may not work.

The best solutions we can offer to you at this time are as follows:

1. Setup a VPN to a network with a public IP and ports

2. Purchase a static IP address from VZW for $500

3. Terminate service and switch providers to someone who offers open access to remote machines

There is nothing you can do from the Jetpack to enable this functionality if it is getting blocked by the NAT firewall, and I suspect it is because you didn't mention a VPN or a public IP.  You have to expose the remote machine to the open internet to connect to it from another location.
