Yes the line 6620L can be used in Japan as it is world-capable.
You can select the Travelpass option at $10 per 24 hour period using your standard domestic plan allowance (After 1/2 GB of data usage in one session, speeds will slow to 2G. Speed will resume at the start of the next TravelPass session) or one of the bundled plans ($25 for 100MB and $25 per each 100MB afterwards or $50 for 250 MB with each additional 100MB @ $25) or you can do pay-as-you-go @ $2.05 per MB.
