I have the same question. I am on the road traveling and get a text telling me it's critical to update my jetpack right away. Well I have a Mac. Says it must be done on a PC. Don't have one. Went to Verizon store, no help there. It's my only source of wi-fi. I need someone to answer.
Firmware updates may be automatic or you may have to initiate it through the device. See page 25 of the user manual for more information and to compare the current version number with the available version.

I do appreciate you trying to update your software. I am a MAC user myself so I understand there can be some limitations. I do see someone did put the link to the manual and it shows you how to update your software. Were you able to update your software this way?

No, the manual did not help me at all. Neither did the store or the technical support people on the phone. They had no answers on how to do the critical update that must be done by Feb 10 using a MAC. Very unhappy with the outrageous amount of data being used every since I got the text about the update. I upped my data plan and the bill doesn't look right on there either. Very dissatisfied with Verizon at this point. I am a 22 year customer. So you would think they would do something for me.
