Is my ellipsis MHS815L at least 2.4 GHx?

I am trying to figure out the GHz of my

Wifi because I just bought the Amazon echo dot (Alexis) and the smart wi-if plugs need 2.4 GHz or higher to work.  Are they not connecting because the wi-if is not that high?  If so I need to send back these plugs asap.   I would appreciate any help.  I tried but can't seem to find this info on the specs sheet.

Yes it does use 2.4 Ghz!

According to the Verizon website:

https://www.verizonwireless.com/internet-devices/ellipsis-jetpack-mhs815l

System Requirements Wi-Fi: 802.11b/g/n; Compatible with all major operating systems like Windows & MAC
and browsers including: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari and Mobile Safari

According to the IEEE 802.11 specification from Wikipedia:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_802.11

802.11b and 802.11g use the 2.4 GHz ISM band, operating in the United States under Part 15 of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission Rules and Regulations.
