I have been advised to change my wifi password on the jet pack by Verizon billing.
The wifi password and admin password are the same, per the LED display On the jet pack.
I have gone to 192.168.1.1 per the instructions and entered the admin password, leaving the username field blank. The instructions say only to enter the admin password. This gets the response "incorrect username or password entered".
I've tried every user name combo I can think of, including the phone number of the jet pack, with and without dashes; no joy.
I also tried http://my.jetpack, but that didn't go anywhere.
Any my suggestions on how to figure this out?

Try resetting the defaults on the MiFi and give it another shot. Something may be misconfigured somewhere and a reset would put it back to normal. Check the User Guide for extra steps on logging into the Jetpack to make sure you aren't missing something.
