I recently purchased ExpressVPN and am trying to load the configuration files into the advanced/vpn settings section of the 8800L hotspot. After a lot of fits and starts, I finally got it loaded to where it says "Files OK!", added my username and password for the VPN and selected Connect. After several minutes it says "Connection failed. See Log for more Information." Here is the log excerpt:

I'm sorry you're getting these "Failed" messages when you try using the VPN. What happens when you try using the Hotspot without the VPN?

That's great to hear that it has been working for you. We are very sad to say, but either your VPN service is not compatible with our services or there is an error with their service.
If the issue was with our service, then you would have an issue with using your device within the VPN as well.

If you download the file from Expressvpn then you need to alter the top of the file slightly. The first line in your opn file should "client". Then you need to comment out two lines so they look like this:
# route-method exe
# route-delay 2
Once you make these mods and save the file as *.opn, you should be fine and not experience drops
