I have a jetpack 8800 and it keeps over heating...like burn you hot. I have ruined original battery. Bought another one and it was ok for a while, bought another one and new one is doing the same thing. I have taken the back of it off to hope it cools off faster. I am having a hard time charging it now too because it get so hot. Now it powers off TOO HOT on the screen. I only ever have one bar on this jetpack too. I can use it most of the time but during busy times its about useless. I need it to work. This is the only internet I can have traveling in an RV and working.
That is quite strange that this has happened with multiple devices? Is this device being left where the sun can hit it during the day, or in an area that gets hotter than normal?

Use your phone's hotspot, it does the same thing. Jetpacks are a waste of money.
