Dead Kin2m

I work the night shift and I charged my Kin2m last night at work.  Today when I woke up and checked my phone for missed calls or messages  it was dead.  Also, I noticed the phone itself was warm to the touch.  I've seen the battery drain quickly before so I plugged it in and tried to turn it on but it would not go beyond the "Verizon Wireless" screen.  I've taken the battery out several times and let it sit and cool off for a couple hours.  Nothing.  Any ideas?  I've had this phone about 5 months now.
