Email "App" Sync - gmail and verizon accounts will not delete from phone

when hitting the manual sync in airplane mode connect to wifi my two email accounts setup no longer sync noticed this in the last 2 weeks where it get hung up on the sync or never attempts it???

must be an email storage memory issue on the phone.  I had adjusted the settings to auto sync and sync all emails and all email on my accounts loaded onto the phone. 

I thought delteing the accounts and re-setups would work but that does not appear to be the issue?  anyone else with the problem. 

It took several minutes to delete my gmail account and verizon accounts but finally have no accounts on my phone.

might just use the browser views from now, cant deal with the poor email storage and sync hangs!
