I am hoping to get a louder ring to play since the volume is up.  my old feature phone has regular ringers not melodies, don't see any options for normal ringers

Unfortunately, the phone only comes with maybe 2 useful tones, and those two are only good for incoming text and voice mail notification.

You will have to send new ringtones to the phone via a MMS (pics and vid) text only.  You will get charged .25 cents per this text.  I put 4 different ring tones on the phone that I simply downloaded for free from a website.  You then use your pc email to send to the phone using your phone number followed by @vzwpix.com.  (1234567890@vzwpix.com).  Then attach the ringtone files and send the email.

There are a few threads on this, look in the highly informative thread fisharefriends made. There are a few others too.

I found some ringtones were louder than others after you transfer them on to your phone.  Here are a few that worked good for me.

2 that I found to be very good are:

There are endless tones on that site....I spent hours searching....:smileyhappy:
