IMAP email not connecting

I'm able to successfully access my gmail from my kin(via the email app) but i can't access my work IMAP account. Everything is correct, but it gives me this message:

 

Can't download your messages right now. Try again later email

 

Anyone have any tips? Has this happened to anyone else?

Is your work email on a Corporate Eschange server where your company's IT department needs to establish permissions to allow your work emails to be pushed out?
