I have to get a feature phone (no data plan for me) and at the moment I have an enV touch. I was pretty much thinking of getting a Samsung SCH u370 or this phone but I wasnt sure which one to get since the Samsung phone looks really similar to my enV touch. Do you KIN TWOm owners like the phone? It seems there are lots of negative reviews about it and people saying theres like nothing to do on it.
Thanks
Well, I guess you could say that there's nothing to do on it other than talk, text, take pictures & videos with the 8 megapixel camera, download and listen to music on the built-in zune player, retrieve and send e-mail from multiple accounts, and use the web with WiFi.
On the other hand, if you're looking for something to download games and other apps to, then you won't be happy with this device. You can't use VZbackup, VZnavigator, etc.
Basically, if you're looking for a portable communications device with a pretty nice camera, music player and WiFi to avoid data charges, I think you'll be happy.
If you're looking for a device to play games and download apps to, then you should probably look at something else.
One more thing...when I was looking for my phone, I noticed that several of the feature phones (Samsung Intensity II for example) had 2.5mm headphone jacks rather than the standard 3.5mm. That means that most headphones/earbuds you may have won't fit without an adapter. Also, while most do not have WiFi, some don't even have 3G. They just have 1X (or 2G), which is much slower. The Kin 2 has a standard 3.5mm jack and 3G in addition to WiFi.
So it really boils down to what's important to you.
