Thank you very much for posting these, they are a very clear, hands-on way to help people with these actions. Most especially thanks for posting how to block data via My Verizon. And for Kin Twom users/owners/buyers, the processes for all the above are the same.

One quick question though: have you verified that you are still able to send and recieve picture messages/MMS (after applying these blocks)? I did not block my data through My Verizon, but I've been reading that you have to leave both 'block picture messaging' and 'block all data services' unchecked. Have you been able to test sending picture messages, as well as recieving them? Thanks again for these visual, very informative videos

I did send a ringtone from my yahoo email to mynumber@vzwpix.com and i did receive it. I checked everything on service blocks except picture and video messaging

I havent tried sending photos and videos because i dont have texting plan and my mom will get mad if our bill went up again lol but what i do is I send my photos on my email using wifi so i can post photos on facebook on my itouch coz im lazy to get on the pc to get my photos lol

If ringtones are working, then MMS as a whole are working, so videos and pictures should be working. Thanks! With no messaging plan anyways, though, it really shouldn't be a big deal for you personally cause you won't be regularly sending messages, just the occasional ringtone.
