I've noticed that when I've deleted e-mail messages from my KIN, that it will remove those messages from the server when it performs the synch function. Since I access my e-mail through multiple methods, its important that I always keep every message on the server.
Is there any setting to prevent the KIN from deleting messages from the server? When I delete messages, I only want to delete them from the KIN device itself.
Thanks in advance for any help.
There must be something in email account settings on the phone that allows you to delete from handheld only. I think there is a checkbox related to the server.
Typically, that is what you see with e-mail settings. When I realized that e-mail messages were being deleted from the server, I went back to the KIN settings to look for that particular setting but couldn't find it. If anybody knows if/where this setting exists, please let me know.
It does not do that with my Kin2M, so it must be a setting on your e-mail program that you must change.
