Thinking of buying a KIN 1

Hi,

I'm thinking of buying a KIN one but, I DON'T want to pay for DATA or WiFi CHARGES of any sort.

The Verizon website says that it is now a BASIC PHONE is this true?

Do you have to pay a seperate DATA or WiFi plan? 

Please let me know.

Read all the reviews before buying a KIN. I thought it was great to get all these features without a data plan, especially the WiFi. 3 months later I had to give it up. I don't like it. I have the KIN2. Can't imagine the KIN1 being better. At least the 2 has the 8 mp camera.
