Type on touch screen for Kin TWOm

I am wondering if there is any way to type out a text message or something without using the keyboard and just using the touch screen itself?

There is no way to type on the screen. Although I prefer the slideout, it would be nice to be able to quickly type a message when it is closed...

I just recently purchased the Kin TWOm but I haven't got it yet. I am a texter and is there any way to txt on screen. I sure hope so.
