What is going on with the kin TWOm??

I want this phone so bad!! I have called everybody that has anything to do with this phone!! Nobody is giving me any answers at all. However i called the manufacture and they said they stopped making them a month ago soo... ?? Please verizon can i get a answer that is right. And is their any way at all I  could get this phone? anywhere?

For about the past week there've been several "Kin Twom" phones ebay auctions in "new other" condition which ebay and the seller define as

"New other (see details): A new, unused item with absolutely no signs of wear. The item may be missing the original packaging, or in the original packaging but not sealed. The item may be a factory second or a new, unused item with defects. See the seller’s listing for full details and description of any imperfections."

"The phone may be classified as Overstock, Manufacturer Refurbished, Buyer Remorse / Carrier Return, or Used. Since we purchase in large quantities, we do not know the specific history of each model."

And now and then I see a "Kin Twom" phone in "new" (not "new other") condition for auction on ebay.

I dont want to get it off ebay or cragislist 😕 I just wanna know what the story is on this phone.

I too am looking for this phone!  I actually went into a local store today and asked if they had either of the Kin phones available.  I was asked why I wanted a Kin phone and was then told that someone would check for me and that if they didn't, they would try to help me find a similar phone.  I waited around for about 40 minutes for someone to get back to me before deciding to leave.

Quite disappointing.  I'll probably give in and order a Kin Onem online for my upgrade instead of waiting around for the Twom.  Sorry I couldn't provide any help, just wanted to share my experience

Neither of the Kin phones are being manufactered - they are out of production for good.  Once Verizon stock is gone, they're gone.  This has already happened for the TwoM.  Your only choice if you want this phone is used or refurbished through someplace like eBay or a private seller.  Sorry, but I got that info directly from the manufacturer.

Yes I got that information too!! The thing I wanna know is if it will be CPO? Also if it is retired for sure why does verizon not say it is? Some verizon people are assuming cause it has been gone for a while now but they have no information telling them for sure. On their thing it say verylow/no stock and when they try to make a order it says it is on hold? so yea kinda a weird thing!

I personally think Verizon is keeping the news secret, so they don't scare off potential customers for the OneM.  The manufacturer used the term end of life, meaning they are absolutely done making these phones, and have been for awhile.

Yes i guess that make sense kinda. I just think they should let people know cause it is not fair to the customer.
