Can someone help please

Just got my LG Revolution today. Can text just fine, but cannot hear my callers. They can hear me, but I cannot hear them. Cannot hear if the phone is even ringing when I make a call. Mute button is not on. I took battery out and back in. I removed the screen cover. Can anybody help please?

Have you tried pressing the volume buttons while in a call?  It's possible the volume got turned all the way down by accident.  I would suggest calling something automated (like your voicemail) and watch the screen while pressing volume up.  You should see a volume slider indicating where it is at.  If this doesn't work, you may have a faulty handset.  A quick call to tech support should get a replacement sent your way (if you are outside of your 14 day return window, it will be a certified like new).

Yes, thank you. I tried that and still nothing. My contacts say they hear me just fine, but I don't hear anything. Really frustrating! Just got the phone today (and it wasn't cheap) so this ticks me off. Have spent my whole evening trying to get it to work. Don't have a land line so I'll have to wait until morning and go by Verizon.  Thanks for responding though...
